The PCC was established to support the long-term development of a responsible, transparent and sustainable prize competition industry, building upon the principles introduced by the Government’s Voluntary Code of Good Practice.

As an industry trade body, the Council seeks to promote high operating standards, consumer protection, ethical business practices and greater accountability across the sector.

Founding Membership

Paragon Competitions Limited joined the Prize Competition Council from its inception and remains committed to supporting its objectives and the continued professionalisation of the prize competition industry.

• Daily, weekly, monthly and annual spending controls
• Temporary account lock facilities
• Permanent self-exclusion options
• Permanent account closure
• Removal from all marketing communications following closure or self-exclusion
• A strict prohibition on the use of credit cards for competition purchases
• Dedicated Complaints, Accessibility, Equality & Inclusion and Responsible Participation policies
