Frequently Asked COmpetition Questions

All winners are selected using an independent service called Random Picker, and we Live Stream all draws for everybody to see. All winners are guaranteed to be random, a public record with an online certificate is produced to prove it was an unbiased draw and a service is provided for entrants to check whether they were included in the draw. Our draws are independent, verified and unbiased.

No! Employees or family members are not permitted to enter our competitions. Even though our draws are independent and verified, we would not want to cast any doubt in our customers minds, so our employees and family members are not allowed to enter any of our competitions.

We triple check all entry lists and have never missed anybody out so far. After the draw has been carried out, a Certified Entry List will be produced by ‘Random Picker’ and we will post a link to it on the Random Picker website. This gives entrants the ability to input their name or email address and verify whether they were actually in the draw or not. The Entry List will remain available permanently after the draw has taken place so that entrants can go back at any time and check that they were in the draw, and third parties can audit the draws for proof they were random and unbiased. The entry lists are independently verified by Random Picker and guarantee whether or not you were in the draw.

Yes! All draws are shown live on our Facebook Page every Monday & Thursday at 8pm for everybody to see. Previous draw videos remain on our Facebook Page and are also added to our website.

Each competition is limited to a different amount of entries per person, depending on the entry cost and volume of total entries. 

We aim to get prizes to you as soon as possible, and they are normally delivered within 3-5 working days. We will use next day delivery options where possible.

Yes. You cannot participate in a competition without having an account with us.

ALL of our draws are GUARANTEED, regardless of how many entries we sell. We will never roll over the competitions or extend the end date. Once the timer reaches zero, even if we’ve only sold one entry, we do the draw for the full prize and the winner will receive the prize as advertised. 

We want to give our customers the chance to win luxury prizes for a fraction of their price and have fun while doing so, however we incur costs for doing this, and we are also a business so naturally want to make a profit. The surplus money covers overheads such as office rental, staff costs, website maintenance, internet/phone connections, payment processing fees, marketing costs, taxes and our business profit.

Microsoft Email Issues

We are aware of an issue effecting all Microsoft email addresses.

This includes @hotmail.com / @outlook.com / @msn.com / @live.com 

Customers are not receiving emails from our site on these addresses.

We’re working to resolve the issue but this could take up to 24 hours. 

You can always check your tickets under My Account > Tickets, regardless of getting an email or not.

Free Postal Entry

A free Entry option is available for all Entrants by sending a postal Entry. 

To enter for Free by postal Entry, you must first create an Account on the Website, then clearly write on a Postcard, your full name, full address, email address used to register your Account, date of birth, contact telephone number and the name of the specific Competition you wish to enter to the Promoter. Free Entries must be posted to Paragon Competitions Limited, 3000 Aviator Way, Manchester Business Park, Manchester, M22 5TG. Postage must be paid by the Entrant and business postage solutions must not be used. 

Free Postal Entries are limited to One Entry Per Person/Account, Per Competition, Per Postcard.

All Entries must be sent individually and Postcards sent in envelopes will not be accepted, we will not accept hand delivered entries, they must be sent via the Royal Mail postal service. 

In the interest of fairness, Paragon Competitions reserves the right to ban anybody that is suspected of misuse, cheating or automating entries. Any automated entries or suspected automated entries will not be accepted and anybody suspected or deemed to be attempting to make automated entries will be permanently banned from Paragon Competitions. Automated entries can include but is not limited to; printing post cards in volume, use of a franking machine or use of business postage solutions.

Free postal Entries received while the Competition is still open will be entered into the draw and will be treated exactly the same as a paid entry. Any free postal Entries received after the Competition has closed will not be entered into the Draw. You will not be deemed to have Entered a Competition until the Promoter confirms your Entry either by email or by adding your Entry to the Recent Orders area of your Account.

Free postal Entries with incomplete information will not be Entered into the Draw.

The Promoter will not be held responsible for any lost free postal Entries which don’t arrive at the Promoter’s address.

The Promoter will not be held responsible for any free postal Entries which do not arrive before the Competition closes. A Competition may close due to all Entries being allocated or the countdown timer of the Competition reaching zero.
