Created specifically to offer the same sleek, classic shapes preferred by touring professionals, each Special Select model has been designed and milled in the USA to the same exacting performance specifications demanded by our game’s greatest players.
New performance balanced weighting expands on Scotty’s use of customisable sole weights to tune putter performance and feel at all lengths by incorporating tungsten for the blades and stainless steel for the mid-mallets to produce larger sweet spots and enhance stability. Returning to the roots of sound and feel, each Special Select model has been designed and milled in the United States from a block of solid 303 stainless steel for legendary performance and playability with consistent sound and soft feel.
With an over-arching attention to creating Tour-preferred sleeker profiles, as well as slightly thinner and flatter toplines, Special Select putters maintain traditional overall headweight, yet display notable refinements in face height, neck position, hosel depth, corner radius shaping, flange thickness and sole weight technology to sit better, sound better and perform better.
Each Special Select putter is accessorized with Scotty’s new Pistolini Plus grip that marries the Pistolini shape with a slightly built up lower hand profile for feel and performance.
The Titleist Pro V1 is the golf ball that changed the game. First released to an unsuspecting golfing world all the way back in 2000 it brought a hitherto unseen combination of speed, distance and control. Soon enough the golf club technology caught up, and the era of the high launching, low spinning drives had arrived. Perhaps the most amazing part about the Pro V1 golf ball was that despite its super low spin off the tee, greenside controlled remained superb meaning that for the first time ever, golfers had the best of both worlds.
Since 2000 there have been several new versions of both the Titleist Pro V1 and Titleist Pro V1x which have seen gradual improvements in all aspects of its performance. This year sees the latest incarnation of this historic golf ball and it promises to be something extremely special. For the first time in over a decade Titleist have produced a brand new dimple pattern for both golf balls which looks set to offer all levels of golfers significant increases in performance.
The 2021 Titleist Pro V1 golf ball benefits from brand new aerodynamics, casing layer, cover and core technologies all of which will see this superior ball excel from Tee to Green. The redesigned soft cast Urethane Elastomer cover brings a much softer feel to the Pro V1 than ever before and brings unparalleled greenside control. The casing has been made faster which enhances ball speed and lowers long game spin still further and the 2.0 ZG Process Core has been reformulated to increase overall distance.
The Pro V1 golf ball is designed to offer less long game spin than the Pro V1x and will produce a lower, more penetrating ball flight. Both versions will offer similar greenside control but The Pro V1 does it with a softer feel. If you are serious about your golf and you want to shoot the lowest score you possibly can then there is no golf ball available today that can help you more than the 2021 version of the Titleist Pro V1 golf ball.
The 2021 Titleist Pro V1 golf ball brings total performance all the way from the Tee to the Green. It’s time to play golf without compromise.
