Right or Left Handed
The Titleist TSi range of drivers were a global phenomenon with golfers of all abilities choosing one to power their drives down the fairways. The TSi range was also fully embraced by tour players which resulted in Titleist drivers often being the most played on both the DP World Tour and PGA Tour – a sure sign that Titleist had produced something extremely special. Now the moment has arrived for the next generation of drivers to be released by this highly revered brand. Named The TSR, initial reports would suggest that once again Titleist have smashed it out of the park.
As with the TSi range there are three heads to choose from, with each one offering different characteristics that give golfers the ability to pick the one that most suits their swing style and ability level. The Titleist TSR2 driver offers maximum speed and stability and is the the most forgiving in the new range, helping golfers to achieve their distance potential, even on shots that have not been struck from the centre of the club. The shape of the TSR2 has been significantly altered from that of the TSi2 and now offers the classic players shape that Titleist has historically been famous for. The new look head has greatly improved the aesthetics at address and there can be no doubt that the TSR2 is an absolutely beauty when placed behind the ball. The change in shape has also improved the aerodynamics and now allows for increased clubhead speeds without any extra effort required from the golfer.
The engineers at Titleist have developed a new construction approach with the face of the TSR range. Named Multi-Plateau VFT design, this method builds the face inward, layer by layer, to create nearly constant CT across the entirety of the hitting surface. In simple terms, the TSR2 driver produces amazing forgiveness and ball speeds on every strike, whether it has been flushed or hit significantly off centre. The CG placement on the TSR2 driver has been shifted lower and more forward than on the TSi2 and this change further increase ball speeds whilst improving both launch and spin at the same time.
The Surefit Adjustability system continues to give both fitters, and the golfers themselves, the ability to fine tune their driving performance so that every aspect of their driving is fully optimised. The standard range of shafts on offer have been handpicked by Titleist offer the best compatibility with each of the heads and provide plenty of choice to ensure the perfect driver for you is available as a standard option. This is further enhanced by a range of premium shaft options from Graphite Design.
If you are looking to upgrade your tees shots, and want to see your ball flying straighter and further than ever before, then the Titleist TSR2 driver could well be the perfect choice for you. With this latest release Titleist have once again shown why they command so much respect within the golf industry.
