Regular or Stiff Shafts
The Callaway Apex irons were first released back in 2016 and took the golfing world by storm with their unique blend of explosive power with a forged feel. With a smaller profile that encouraged good ball striking and a subtle cavity back that helped on off centre strike the Apex was the perfect club for improving golfers to transcend into more of a players iron. The Apex line was refreshed in 2019 and it proved to be one of the most popular irons in its class.
2021 brings with it the release of the next generation of Apex irons and it promises to be the best version of it yet, as it is the first version to be created with Callaway’s A.I. designed Flash Face Cup technology. This face architecture creates fantastic ball speeds and spin consistency across the whole face and the all-new Tungsten energy core makes this the most forgiving Apex iron yet. Callaway have also redesigned the shape of the Apex iron to allow for superior levels of turf interaction.
When a golfer purchases a set of players irons, the feel at impact is an extremely important part of the selection process. The Callaway Apex 21 iron proves to be a huge success in this area with Callaway’s proprietary urethane microspheres combining with a fully forged 1025 mild carbon steel body to produce a remarkably soft feel, making these superb clubs a joy to hit.
The overall performance of the Callaway Apex 21 is extremely strong with distances achieved being at the very top end of any club in this class. Expect them to soar through the air on a higher, slightly lower spinning flight that you would get from a traditional forged blade, meaning that you will be going into greens with less club.
If you are looking for a set of clubs to help take your game to the next level, then the Callaway Apex 21 irons would be a superb choice. With beautiful looks at address, class leading performance, amazing feel and superb levels of forgiveness, the Apex 21 ticks every box.
